We are in the process of removing all the grass in our yard and replacing it with gardens. Ruby was anxious to help with the wheelbarrow. She was, however, afraid of all the worms in the dirt.

The little munchkin is full of herself these days--talking non-stop and oh-so-busy. Welcome to toddlerhood!

She is recently fascinated with our gate. She likes to open and close it, saying "Open...close...open...close..."

Ruby "helped" me make biscuits this morning. She sang "Ruby cooking" continuously while she mixed the flour and water.

Ruby has also begun dressing herself. She can't yet put the clothes on herself but she is adamant about what she wants to wear. This particular morning she insisted "dress!" and wasn't happy until it was this particular dress. She was then equally adamant about putting her fish shirt ("Mama, fish!") on top of her dress.
