Ruby is really into clothes. She likes to go through her dresser everyday and find exciting combinations to wear. I generally let her wear want she wants. This particular chilly May day, I told her she needed another layer because it was cold outside. She picked her swimsuit, clearly. Here's a girl wishing for a warmer day! (I have to mention that we spent the morning at the park getting funny looks.)

I decided to watch a kitten for a week for a friend and a week has turned into two months. The kitten's been named Blackjack. "Back-jack" Ruby says. She's gentle with him--when she's not putting him the bathtub or shutting him in the kitchen cabinets.
